Recess Box Review

Hey Guys!

Influenster sent me some goodies again complimentary of course to try and this one had stuff both my kiddo and I! The box is called the Recess Voxbox.

So in the box was: a box of Granola Bear paws, Welch’s fruit snacks, Kiju Mango Orange Juice Box, two coupons one from Knorr Selects for their rice side dishes and one for Kiju Juice Boxes, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, and Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner in travel sizes.

First I will start with the Bear paws: my son loves the banana bread Bear Paws already but this was our first time trying the Granola Bear Paws and we were not disappointed they were chewy, chocolatey, and delicious!

Welch’s Fruit snacks were both very sweet but tasty.

Kiju Organic Mango Orange Juice Box was very thirst quenching and sweet we love it.

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner were lovely scented Coconut but I am allergic to corn and it had corn in it so I had to pass it on! Shame I know!

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara was pretty good but I found my lashes stuck together and more importantly I didn’t find it having anything spectacular about it. It did however give me some length which was nice for my oh-so short lashes.

The coupons Knorr Selects and Kiju Organic: I used the Kiju coupon right away it was for $.50 off and the Knorr Selects was passed on as I don’t eat package food like that anymore!

Overall it was a great Box! My son and I enjoyed it very much!

KatVonDBeauty voxbox of Sinner and Saint from Influenster

Today I want to share about an awesome box I received complimentary from Influenster to review! It is the sinner and saint collection from KatVonDBeauty. I am usually a very huge fan of floral and fruity scents and rarely so I veer off that path. However, after reviewing these to scents I found that they grew on me separately and together. I enjoyed the Saint the most with it Jasmine, Musk, Vanilla scent profiles while the spicy Saint slowly won me over with it sensual Cinnamon, Wood, and Patchouli notes. They are even better layered together! Thank you Influenster for being able to get out of comfort zone and try something new and thank you KatVonD for these beautiful products!

Review of Orville Resenbacher's Caramel & White Cheddar Popcorn

I have received this item complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

http://orville.conagrafoods.ca/product/caramel-white-cheddar/

I have an allergy thought mild to corn but have since tested popcorn and appear to be fine with it now.
With that being said I didn't eat a whole lot of it because of the above just a few pieces and the rest is being eaten by my son. I enjoyed the flavour a lot the sweet of the caramel and the savoury flavour of the white cheddar was a nice combo. Would I buy this again? I don't think so and not because of the obvious mild allergy to corn but because of some of the other ingredients such as glucose-fructose which yes is sugar and I get it this is in no way a health product but I think there are ways of making it with less additives. These opinions are my own and I am not getting paid to express them.

Thanks for reading!

Review of the L'oreal Hydra total 5

I've tried the products and now I'm going to review them! They were free! #beyondhydration #5works

I give the moisturizer 5 stars as I loved how silky smooth it made my skin and it was really moisturizing.

I give the micellar water 5 stars as well because it made my skin feel clean and fresh.

I give the toner 3 stars as I've had better toners and I wasn't a fan of the smell.

Paleo Butternut Squash Chili and Paleo Gingersnaps

Hey everyone! I keep forgetting to update this blog with my recipes. So here are a couple new ones that I made tonight! I'm obsessed with ginger snaps so I keep tweaking my recipe and I love each and every version of it they are all amazing. This one I think is perfection! I love crispy ginger snaps don't get me wrong but this one just heavenly it is so light, soft, and fluffy. Oh and of course delicious! I also made a Butternut Squash Chili that is good for anyone's palate I made this for a group of people so I didn't make it spicy but I would have added cayenne and probably hot sauce had I only been eating it so feel free to add those to it if you too like the heat! ;)

1/4 cup Coconut Sugar
